Review: EYSAN at Performance Days 2018
Among the sportswear and sports gear exhibitions in Europe, ISPO in Munich and European Outdoor in Friedrichshafen is two of the biggest fairs. As for the exhibition purely for fabric, you can look for Premiere Vision in Paris or Munich Fabric Start in Munich, but those are for fashion fabrics. If you are looking for a professional fabric fair for sportswear, Performance Days is definitely the one that you have to visit!
Performance Days is the only functional fabric fair, which gathers the best functional fabric suppliers, additive suppliers, yarn suppliers and sportswear and outdoor garment manufacturers in the world, and attracts well-known activewear or outdoor bag brands to source widest range of yarn, fabrics and additives and most innovative product.
As Performance Days is growing well-known, a bigger showground was needed. It was the first time that Performance Days was held in Messe München. According to official numbers, there were more exhibitors and more visitors than ever.
EYSAN also joined this great event of the functional textile industry. We could feel that the customer we have meet are very professional in their field and were passionate in fabrics and their clothing product line.
Performance Meet Comfort
Before the show, we’ve announced our exhibition theme this year – Performance Meet Comfort. The theme boards are inspired by this theme for the following sub-theme:
- Premium Comfort
- Cottony Synthetic
- Fine Knitting
- Earth Friendly
- Extraordinary
When we reviewed TITAS show last month, we revealed two of the five theme boards which meet our exhibition theme – Performance Meet Comfort. Now, we would like to revealed the rest!
Cottony Synthetic
Even the synthetic yarn could achieve natural soft hand-feeling. Beyond the comfort of cotton material, these fabric has good stretch and functional. This give the wearer of the clothing best comfort while wearing. These fabrics might not with the premium brand of yarn, but still with high-quality ATY yarn (air textured yarn), which has cottony hand-feeling. These are mainly use for sportswear or yoga wear leggings and pants.
Earth Friendly
Sustainability is surely the most concerned topic of the textile industry in recent years, which includes eco-friendly production process, resource reusing, material recycling and biodegradable material. Beside recycled polyester and nylon, we also have solution dyed (top dyed) polyester fabric which save water while dying; we have Umorfil collagen fabric, which reuse extract the collagen from fish scale for odor resistant performance. Extraordinary
Simple wicking performance is an old story. 62355 has one-way-wicking functions that wick away sweat quickly to other side, and have sweat stain resistant performance at the same time. These are the fabrics with more than one kind of performance feature. Other fabric also have more than one single functions:
